WhyphY is a music band from Myanmar, blending Alternative, Indie, and Progressive Rock into a sound that is both intimate and emotionally raw. Formed in 2015, the band consists of Marshall (vocals, songwriting), Aung Zawhtet (guitars), and Phyo Min Naing (keys, bass). Their debut album, Cho Myain Khar Thet (Bittersweetness), was released in 2020 and received strong support from listeners across the local music scene. After a five-year hiatus from their debut, WhyphY is set to return with a new EP and second full-length album in the coming years.
